I was born in La Rioja, Spain and raised in Managua, Nicaragua. From the age of 11, my father involved me in his ministry. I served as a Spanish interpreter for more than 30 teams from a variety of organizations coming to my country to provide medical and dental services, youth missions and disaster relief. In 1996, I moved to Fort Worth to attend Texas Christian University. It was my long-term desire to become a doctor, but I sensed a call to full-time ministry.

On Thanksgiving weekend, 2001, I arrived in Little Rock with all my belongings packed in a U-Haul, knowing God was asking me to climb out of the boat, like Peter, and be willing to take a step of faith as I fixed my eyes on Him in becoming part of a new church plant called the Mosaic Church of Central Arkansas. I served there for nearly eight years as the Director of Cross-Cultural Ministries and Missions.

I graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2004 with degrees in International Studies and Spanish with an emphasis on Latin American Literature. Two days after graduation I married my wonderful husband Rob, who loves me like Christ loves the Church.

I now work full-time at the local children's hospital in Little Rock as a Medical Interpreter, and since September 2009 have had an incredible new journey called motherhood. God has taught me about life, love, and sacrifice in a whole new way through my beautiful son.
